COVID-19 Updates

March 2020

Hello all,

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and protected during this tumultuous time. In New York City the United States government is treating the COVID-19 pandemic as a wartime situation, therefore, so shall we. Wartime necessitates the most immediate response using the least amount of resources in order to achieve the maximum impact. As you may or may not know, all gyms in NYC are closed indefinitely. However, we are not just a gym. We are your elite, personal training facility.

Through Iron & Silk's methods, we will do as we have always done by adapting to the world and our clients' needs.

As we will be updating our social media accounts with advice and methods on how to maintain and even achieve good health while at home, please do not hesitate to email us so that we can discuss your specific situation. Some immediate actions we can take are as follows:

  • Remain proactive and calm in updating yourself and loved ones with accurate
    information regarding the pandemic.

  • Partake in social distancing as effectively as possible (6 feet or more distance
between all individuals and stay in your home as often as possible).

  • Take enhanced hygienic precautions (i.e face masks, gloves, etc.)

  • Keep free flowing, circulating air in your home as much as possible.

  • Incorporate sufficient vitamin C (1000mg per dose), zinc monomethionine (30mg per
dose), D3, colloidal silver, and quercetin with meals multiple times a day.

  • Stay hydrated!

  • Exercise:

    • Depending on where you are located, restrictions vary. For example, if you are in an area that is fully quarantined you must exercise within your home or, if you are in an area with strict limitations, you may be able to exercise both in your home or in a loosely populated park.

  • Even if you are in excellent condition and/or not concerned about COVID-19, please be considerate of those at a higher risk of contracting the virus and adhere to the national and worldwide recommendations.

Please stay smart, strong, and safe.

Cheers,
Team I&S
